Job Description
**Job Title:** Supply Chain Logistics Analyst (12 Month Contract) **Role Summary:** Manage end‑to‑end order processing, transportation, and warehousing for wholesale operations. Drive efficiency and continuous improvement through data analysis, carrier management, and inventory control. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, on‑time order fulfillment and transportation. - Maintain high customer satisfaction by resolving claims and shortages. - Continuously enhance logistics processes and key performance indicators. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process customer orders, communicate shortages, and coordinate delivery appointments with warehouses. - Investigate and resolve customer claims; recommend corrective actions. - Support new product launches with ISO compliance and logistics planning. - Manage transportation flows between suppliers, co‑manufacturers, distributors, and customers; track all shipments from pickup to delivery. - Arrange spot loads selecting carriers based on service and price. - Evaluate carrier performance and contract compliance monthly. - Prepare customs documentation for cross‑border shipments. - Generate freight RFP support data and actionable insights. - Conduct inventory transfers among internal storage facilities; maintain inventory accuracy. - Analyze distribution center inventory to reduce financial impact of short‑expiry stock. - Create and maintain logistics KPIs using TMS data; present findings in monthly customer touchpoints. - Lead and participate in cross‑functional process improvement projects. - Execute ad‑hoc tasks and projects for the Operations team as needed. **Required Skills:** - Proven logistics, inventory, and transportation experience. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite, SAP) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). - Effective written and verbal communication; teamwork orientation. - Detail‑oriented, accuracy focused, and self‑motivated to learn skills and tackle challenges. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field. - APICS/ASCM or equivalent certification is an asset.
