Job Description
**Job Title:** Project Manager – Offshore Wind (Freelance) **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for offshore wind construction, installation, and commissioning activities. Manage multi‑disciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholder interfaces, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and safety objectives are met. **Expectations:** • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget in a dynamic, multi‑stakeholder environment. • Maintain high levels of communication, risk management, and commercial awareness. • Apply structured project management frameworks to optimize clarity and performance. • Drive continuous improvement and standardise delivery across multiple projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, execute, and monitor offshore construction, installation, and cable scopes. - Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and cross‑functional interfaces. - Develop and update project schedules, risk registers, and action logs. - Produce structured progress reports and commercial monitoring. - Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards. - Identify risks, opportunities, and deviations early and recommend mitigation. - Support continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery framework. **Required Skills:** - Proven offshore wind project management experience (developer, OEM, EPC, or Tier‑1 contractor). - Strong understanding of offshore logistics, installation methods, and construction workflows. - Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams in dynamic environments. - Commercial awareness and problem‑solving capability. - Comfort working within structured frameworks and a mindset for optimisation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
