Job Description
Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst Role Summary: Cyber Security Analysts develop and implement security controls to protect software, hardware, and network assets. They assess vulnerabilities, model threats, and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards throughout the product lifecycle. Expectations: - Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, regulations, and threat intelligence. - Deliver secure products that meet customer, corporate, and regulatory expectations. - Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct vulnerability assessments, impact analyses, and implement mitigations for software and hardware. - Perform threat modeling, gap analysis, and security reviews of in‑market and in‑development products. - Own product cybersecurity deliverables, ensuring consistent application of processes, methods, and tools. - Test and evaluate hardware/software designs against defined security specifications. - Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tools and implementations. - Participate in feature design, grooming, peer reviews, and documentation to embed security early. - Build relationships with cross‑functional teams to support the cybersecurity program’s success. - Translate technical discussions for diverse internal, external, and customer audiences. - Stay current with evolving regulatory requirements and threat landscapes. Required Skills: - Vulnerability assessment and remediation experience. - Threat modeling and risk analysis proficiency. - Strong understanding of secure product development lifecycle. - Knowledge of security tools, protocols, and compliance frameworks. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Team collaboration in agile environments. - Ability to explain complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming, or a related field (preferred). - Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT implementation and operation of hardware, network, and software solutions. - Security+ (or equivalent) certification required.
