Job Description: Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer / Architect Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce Lightning solutions for a federal program, ensuring high quality architecture, integration, and performance. Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end Salesforce platform solutions, maintain compliance with SOPs, provide expert guidance to stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement of practices and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of the Salesforce platform: complex configuration, customization, and third‑party integration. - Lead solution architecture, application design, and implementation. - Oversee configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation across the SDLC. - Develop testing plans, training materials, and user support documentation. - Analyze system requirements and data flows to recommend optimal solutions. - Provide operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes following best practices. - Keep ticketing systems updated and maintain SOP compliance. - Conduct code reviews, enforce alignment with architecture, and mentor development teams. - Perform independent research to resolve complex technical issues. Required Skills: - 12+ years IT experience, 8+ years Salesforce Lightning development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Process Builder, App Builder). - 5+ years Service Cloud implementation (Omni‑Channel, Live Agent, Case Management). - Proficiency with GitLab, Salesforce CLI, VS Code, and standard development practices. - Strong background in system integration, ICD design, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Leadership in solution design and technical collaboration. - Troubleshooting and end‑user technical support. Required Education & Certifications: - U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust (preference for existing clearance). - Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Application Architect. - Minimum 12 years total IT experience and 8 years Salesforce Lightning development. - Minimum 5 years Service Cloud implementation experience.
