Job Description
**Job title:** Salesforce/CRM Developer **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, and integration of Salesforce CRM solutions across the enterprise. Drive multiple technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy, optimal resource utilization, and high‑quality delivery. Act as a technical specialist and project leader for complex CRM projects in a manufacturing/consumer products environment. **Expectations** - Deliver projects on scope, schedule and budget while managing risk. - Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Provide remote leadership, with occasional travel for stakeholder engagement. - Advocate for enterprise information security and data integrity. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze CRM business processes, gather requirements, and produce clear, detailed specifications. - Architect, design, develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Customer & Partner Communities). - Integrate Salesforce with custom solutions, SaaS, and PaaS components. - Mentor and coach junior developers on best practices, DevOps, and ITIL. - Conduct workshops, interviews, surveys, and site visits to elicit requirements. - Evaluate technical options, assess trade‑offs, and recommend optimal solutions that maximize ROI and user experience. - Monitor service delivery, report on customer satisfaction metrics, and continually improve processes. - Support enterprise information security program, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. **Required Skills** - 7+ years in IT, including 5+ years developing complex technology solutions. - 4+ years in manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution. - 4+ years of systems development and project management experience. - Extensive hands‑on Salesforce experience (Sales, Service, Community Cloud). - Proven ability to integrate complex systems (custom, SaaS, PaaS). - Strong project management, planning, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and execution capabilities. - Leadership, communication, and coaching abilities. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and ITIL framework. - Ability to influence and negotiate across resources not directly controlled. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience considered). - Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, or Architect) preferred. - DevOps or ITIL certifications are a plus.
