Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Analyst I Role Summary: Entry‑level analyst responsible for maintaining and updating security policies, providing consultative guidance to business units, and managing evidence collection for internal audits and controls testing to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and audit requirements. Expectations: Demonstrate strong time‑management, confidentiality, organizational, and documentation skills; manage multiple security review requests simultaneously; communicate effectively in written and verbal formats; collaborate with teams and seek guidance when needed. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and update security policies and procedures. • Provide consultative guidance to business units on security and compliance matters. • Collect, organize, and prepare evidence for internal audits and control tests. • Track and document incident activity or events accurately. • Compile documentation, including system and application data, for audit reviews. • Manage multiple data security review requests concurrently. Required Skills: • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong written and verbal communication. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Proficiency in documentation, incident tracking, and report compilation. • Collaborative mindset; seeks guidance when necessary. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred). • One year of IT experience, including work with mainframe, distributed systems, information security, or IT auditing. • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
