**Job title**: Director Global Data, Analytics and AI Platforms **Role Summary**: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a secure, cloud‑native data, analytics, and AI platform that supports global commercial operations. Own architecture, governance, and day‑to‑day operations, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across multiple regions. **Expectations**: Deliver a unified data ecosystem that enables cross‑border product launches, supports enterprise analytics, predictive modeling, and AI initiatives, and meets regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP). - Set and execute global strategy and roadmap. - Drive platform adoption and quantify ROI. - Serve as trusted advisor to global commercial, market access, and IT stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Platform Strategy & Architecture – establish rolling roadmap, oversee data stack architecture (Databricks, AWS, dbt Cloud, Fivetran, Tableau), govern CI/CD and cloud infra. 2. Data Management & Governance – manage end‑to‑end data lifecycle, establish governance frameworks, lead ELT/ETL, dbt modeling, and lakehouse optimization, oversee master data management. 3. Analytics Enablement – partner with analytics and data science teams to deliver dashboards, predictive models, AI insights. 4. Governance & Continuous Improvement – ensure compliance, champion DevOps/Kanban, monitor KPIs for cost, uptime, velocity. 5. Leadership & Collaboration – align global stakeholders, onboard data solutions, communicate outcomes to executive leadership. **Required Skills** - 12+ years data platform leadership, 5+ years in pharmaceutical commercial data. - Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical data assets (IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva, Salesforce, Adobe). - Cloud: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP. - Data tools: Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran. - Visualization: Tableau, Power BI. - Version control & CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins. - Fluent in English; German a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related field. ---
