Job Title: Account Executive – Travel PR
Role Summary:
Execute media and influencer activities for a portfolio of UK travel, leisure and hospitality clients. Drive PR campaigns, manage press trips, build media relationships, and maintain daily client communication within a dynamic agency setting.
Expactations:
- Deliver high‑impact press coverage and influencer engagement that aligns with client brand objectives.
- Demonstrate proactive campaign planning, effective storytelling, and timely execution of media assets.
- Maintain a library of press lists, coverage reports, and trend insights that inform strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate press trips, including itinerary, logistics, and post‑trip reporting.
- Pitch story ideas, draft releases, media notes, and briefing documents for journalists and influencers.
- Serve as the primary contact for UK travel, lifestyle, and consumer media; nurture ongoing relationships.
- Monitor travel industry news, competitor activity, and publication coverage; share actionable insights with teams and clients.
- Produce clear written materials: email updates, client notes, campaign outlines, and post‑campaign analysis.
- Respond swiftly to reactive media opportunities and inquiries, ensuring authoritativeness and relevance.
Required Skills:
- 1–2 years of PR experience, preferably in travel, lifestyle, hospitality, or consumer sectors.
- Established media and influencer contacts across UK travel and leisure outlets.
- Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end press trips.
- Strong storytelling abilities, with polished written communication and pitch skills.
- Self‑motivated, confident, and adaptable with a proactive work ethic.
- Passionate about travel, hotels, destinations, and UK adventure experiences.
- Collaborative mindset, bringing positivity and creativity to brief development.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
- PR or media relations certifications (e.g., PRSA, CIPR) considered an asset.
