Job Description
**Job Title** IT Infrastructure & Operations Specialist **Role Summary** Ensures the reliability, compliance, and efficient operation of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud platforms, networking, telecommunications, and end‑user systems. Provides technical support, drives small‑to‑medium scale projects, and manages documentation, disaster recovery, and compliance with external regulations. Acts as the primary SME for IT aspects within manufacturing and lab environments. **Expactations** • Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure and operations, preferably within a manufacturing setting. • Proven experience managing small‑to‑mid‑size projects. • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in IT or related field. • Fluency in Dutch and English; strong written and verbal communication. • Hands‑on mindset and willingness to broaden technical skill set. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot servers, cloud services, telephone systems, switches, and other backend infrastructure. - Document and execute ad‑hoc and recurring operational tasks; record incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system. - Resolve infrastructure incidents collaboratively with higher‑level support or third‑party vendors. - Maintain documentation and test disaster recovery plans to ensure infrastructure availability. - Ensure alignment of infrastructure with corporate IT strategy and external regulatory requirements. - Lead the delivery of small‑to‑medium scale IT projects: scope definition, execution, follow‑up, and reporting. - Provide front‑end support to local and remote users: resolve incidents, handle hardware/software installations and upgrades. - Manage user onboarding, off‑boarding, and transfer processes; administer hardware and software assets. - Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides. - Act as SME for lab and manufacturing IT projects; support installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of specialized systems. **Required Skills** - Server, cloud, networking, and telephony administration. - Ticketing and incident management (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). - Disaster recovery planning and testing. - Compliance awareness (regulatory and internal policy). - Project management for small‑to‑mid sized initiatives. - Front‑end troubleshooting (PCs, peripherals, printers, office applications). - Documentation and user guide creation. - Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
