**Job title** Investment Banking Analyst (0-2) – TMT **Role Summary** Support senior bankers in executing M&A transactions within the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector. Responsibilities include financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, industry research, and the creation of client deliverables to facilitate transaction execution and business development. **Expectations** - 6 months to 2 years of M&A experience in a bulge‑bracket TMT environment. - Proven ability to work accurately under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced setting. - Strong client‑facing communication and collaborative teamwork with senior bankers. - Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality work and continuous learning in TMT markets. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist in M&A deal execution: valuation analysis, financial due diligence, and preparation of transaction materials. - Build, maintain, and update complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis. - Conduct exhaustive industry and company research to identify trends and strategic opportunities in TMT. - Prepare and deliver polished presentations, pitch books, and other client‑centric materials. - Support senior bankers in nurturing client relationships through timely insights and exceptional service delivery. **Required Skills** - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Macros/VBA). - Expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions). - Proficient in PowerPoint for high‑impact presentation development. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑orientation. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline. - High academic achievement (e.g., >3.0 GPA). - No specific professional certification required, but knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards is advantageous.
