Infrastructure IT Manager (F/H)
Role Summary
Lead and optimize the company’s IT service, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across LAN, WAN, cloud, and data centers while supervising a small team and external partners.
Expectations
* Minimum 5 years of senior IT administration experience (SAS, networking, security)
* Proven project management in security/IT transformation initiatives
* Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
* Fluency in French and English (technical documentation)
Key Responsibilities
* Direct the IT service, coordinating a 3‑person team and managing internal/external resources
* Oversee the availability, security, and performance of local/extended networks, with subcontractors
* Design, deploy, and evolve infrastructure (servers, storage, cloud, virtualization)
* Implement and maintain Microsoft Windows, VMware ESXi, Fortinet, Veeam, Microsoft 365, and security solutions (EDR, XDR, SIEM, SOC, DLP)
* Administer SQL Server, MySQL databases – installation, tuning, reporting (SQL, MyReport, Crystal Report)
* Manage the hardware lifecycle with OCS Inventory and provide end‑user support for systems, networks, telephony, and databases
* Draft and update technical documentation, procedures, and operational references
* Supervise external service providers and oversee development project delivery
* Participate in on‑call rotations and occasional travel to company subsidiaries
Required Skills
* IT infrastructure design & administration (Windows OS, VMware, Fortinet, Veeam)
* Network engineering (LAN/WAN, VPNs, routing, switching)
* Database administration (SQL Server, MySQL) and query optimisation
* Cybersecurity frameworks and tools (EDR/XDR/SIEM/SOC/DLP)
* ERP experience (Sage X3) and database governance
* Project management (planning, execution, stakeholder communication)
* Process documentation, SOP development, and compliance management
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Systems & Network Administration or equivalent
* Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, or Fortinet NSE are preferred.
