Job Description
**Job title:** Enterprise Business Development Representative **Role Summary:** Identify, qualify, and nurture new enterprise accounts in the pharmaceutical sector. Generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads, engage senior executives, and pass advanced prospects to account executives and customer success teams to drive growth. **Expectations:** - Meet or exceed quarterly prospecting and pipeline targets. - Demonstrate a high‑volume cold outreach approach with resilience and persistence. - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and business development to refine outreach strategies. - Maintain meticulous records and accurate data in CRM tools. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Development – research and target top 30 pharma accounts, build lists using ZoomInfo and other tools. 2. Prospecting & Qualification – conduct discovery calls, ask probing questions to uncover pain points, and assess fit with BioRender’s solutions. 3. Relationship Building – engage senior‑level executives (C‑level and other senior leadership) to build strategic connections. 4. Sales Process Management – manage initial stages of the sales cycle, pass nurtured leads to senior account executives and enterprise customer success managers. 5. Collaboration – work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, BD) to execute outreach and messaging tactics. 6. Performance Tracking – analyze outreach metrics, optimize calls and emails, and report progress using data tools. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 8 months business development or sales experience, ideally in SaaS or B2B enterprise environments. - Excellent verbal and written communication; proven ability to engage senior executives. - Strong knowledge of lead‑generation platforms (ZoomInfo, etc.) and ability to build accurate contact lists. - Comfortable with high‑volume cold calling and email outreach. - Skilled in discovery‑style conversations, identifying pain, and articulating value. - Self‑motivated, proactive hunter mindset with a results‑driven focus. - Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. - Data‑driven mindset: using tools to track performance and optimize outreach. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. - No specific certifications required.
