Job Description: **Job title** Developer Support Engineer **Role Summary** Provide technical support for developers using an AI observability platform. Diagnose API/SDK issues, troubleshoot bugs, document solutions, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Solutions to improve the developer experience. **Expactations** - 3–8+ years of post‑sales support for developer‑facing products (Support Engineer, Technical Account Manager, etc.) - Strong Python and/or TypeScript coding skills - Ability to learn and reason about APIs, SDKs, and developer tools quickly - Excellent communication: empathetic, clear, and concise across Slack, email, and documentation **Key Responsibilities** - Diagnose and resolve API and SDK usage problems in customers’ codebases (Python, TypeScript). - Reproduce and analyze customer‑reported bugs, identify root causes, and collaborate with Engineering on fixes. - Own support interactions via Slack and email, building trust with developers. - Author and maintain knowledge‑base documentation to block future issues. - Identify and implement improvements to tools, documentation, and support workflows. - Script, debug, and contribute to internal tooling that streamlines the support process. - Capture and relay customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap. - Participate in on‑call rotations for critical incidents and holiday coverage. - Mentor cross‑functional peers and lead support processes, including escalation handling. - Advocate for developer experience and product reliability enhancements. **Required Skills** - Expertise in debugging Python and/or TypeScript codebases. - Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs and SDK integration. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Clear written and verbal communication, empathy for developer concerns. - Curiosity about LLM use cases and AI measurement tools. **Bonus Points For** - Support experience with developer tools, ML infrastructure, or observability platforms. - Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs. - Working knowledge of datasets, evaluation metrics, or prompt engineering. - Contributions to support tooling, documentation, or product‑led growth initiatives. - Technical lead experience in a fast‑growth environment. - PRs submitted to production codebases affecting customers. - Cloud or container certifications (Terraform, Kubernetes). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience). ---
