Job Description
**Job title:** Intern Assistant Wind Project Manager **Role Summary:** Provide support to the wind project development team throughout the entire project lifecycle, from site identification and feasibility studies to permitting and stakeholder coordination, while gaining hands‑on experience in renewable energy project execution. **Expectations:** * Final‑year engineering student (renewable energy, electrical, civil, environmental or general discipline). * 4–6 month internship starting early 2026, based in Lille. * Ability to work independently, demonstrate analytical rigor, and engage collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Conduct technical, environmental, and regulatory site analyses. 2. Prepare wind resource assessments, grid connection feasibility, and site access studies. 3. Draft and manage permit and authorization submissions. 4. Monitor administrative procedures and maintain project documentation. 5. Liaise with stakeholders (local authorities, landowners, neighbors, consulting firms). 6. Support integration of grid‑flexibility solutions, such as stationary battery storage. 7. Participate in project meetings and contribute to team deliverables. **Required Skills:** * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. * Attention to detail, rigor, and self‑directed work ethic. * Excellent verbal and written communication; team‑oriented mindset. * Proactive, dynamic, and curious attitude toward renewable energy projects. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Current enrollment in an engineering program (renewable energy, electrical, civil, environmental, or equivalent). * No specific certifications required; educational background and coursework in renewable energy or related engineering fields.
