Senior Manager, Inside Sales
**Role Summary**
Lead the inside sales organization, combining people leadership with capability development. Deliver high‑quality, compliant customer engagements, train and coach a virtual/office‑based team, and align inside sales initiatives with overall commercial strategy.
**Expectations**

- Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven coaching and training.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Team Leadership & Development**
- Recruit, onboard, and manage Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs).
- Provide coaching, performance reviews, and career development plans.
- Foster a high‑performance, compliant sales culture.
2. **Sales Strategy & Execution**
- Develop and execute business plans to drive product adoption and market penetration.
- Align inside sales tactics with brand strategy and field sales activities.
- Monitor and analyze team performance metrics; identify improvement opportunities.
3. **Training & Capability Building**
- Design, deliver, and update onboarding and ongoing skill‑development programs for ISRs.
- Conduct live and virtual training on selling frameworks, disease state education, and customer engagement.
- Integrate insights from performance data into training content.
4. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration**
- Partner with Marketing, Commercial Operations, HR, Compliance, Sales Operations, and Legal to ensure unified messaging and delivery.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Leadership to synchronize inside and field initiatives.
- Report progress, share best practices, and provide strategic insights to stakeholders.
**Required Skills**
- Leadership & people management (recruiting, coaching, performance monitoring).
- Strategic sales planning and execution.
- Strong analytical mindset and proficiency with performance dashboards.
- Training design and facilitation (live and virtual).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Knowledge of pharma/biotech sales, regulatory compliance, and customer engagement best practices.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac) in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Certified Inside Sales Professional, Sales Operations, or Pharma sales credentials) are a plus but not mandatory.
