Job title: IT Security Manager Role Summary: Lead the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and operations, develop security policies and procedures, manage incident response, and ensure compliance with global standards. Expectations: Deliver proactive threat protection, maintain continuous security monitoring, drive security awareness, and align security initiatives with business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement and enforce IT security policies, standards and procedures. - Oversee daily security operations and incident response processes. - Monitor, analyze, and respond to alerts from firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc. - Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and risk analyses. - Deploy and manage security technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, encryption. - Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, COBIT and other relevant standards. - Lead security awareness training for all employees. - Collaborate with IT, compliance and business units to embed security in all projects. - Coordinate breach investigations, root‑cause analysis and post‑incident reporting. Required Skills - Strong technical expertise in network, system, application and cloud security. - Proven leadership and project management abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement. - Risk assessment skills with business impact translation. - Familiarity with JumpCloud administration (preferred). Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred). - 5+ years in IT security, with 2+ years in a leadership/management role. - Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA (or equivalent). - Experience with ISO, NIST, COBIT frameworks.
