Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Full Stack Engineer **Role Summary** Architect, develop, and maintain a complex membership and pricing platform that spans back‑end services, front‑end dashboards, and data pipelines. Lead the evolution of the platform’s AWS‑based microservice architecture, collaborate directly with the founding architect, and proactively address architectural risks. **Expectations** - Own end‑to‑end feature delivery, from design through production release. - Adapt quickly to shifting business priorities while maintaining high code quality. - Communicate clear solutions and ask insightful technical questions. - Mentor peers and raise the engineering bar. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and optimize a Nest.js API serving distributed services (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, EventBridge, S3). - Develop and enhance a React SPA and related admin dashboards, including data visualizations and configuration UIs. - Design and refine relational data models, migrate schemas, and perform performance tuning in PostgreSQL. - Automate infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript) and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Implement observability, error handling, and performance monitoring across services. - Identify architectural risks, propose simplifications, and build tooling to reduce manual chores. - Resolve complex data ingestion issues and ensure reliable ETL pipelines. - Test, debug, and troubleshoot production issues proactively. **Required Skills** - 6+ years professional experience building production web systems. - Node.js & TypeScript (Nest.js or equivalent DI framework). - React (SPA development). - AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, EventBridge, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate). - AWS CDK (TypeScript) for IaC. - PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, SQL optimization). - Strong understanding of distributed workflows and system architecture. - Ability to reverse‑engineer complex datasets and craft clear abstractions. - Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and production‑level coding practices. - Effective communication and problem‑solving skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required; advanced AWS or Node.js certifications are a plus.
