Job title: Senior Frontend Engineer
Role Summary: Senior engineer leading the architecture, design, and implementation of core front‑end features for a wealth‑tech data orchestration platform. Owns component library, state management, performance, and accessibility; shapes product UX and technical roadmap in an early‑stage, high‑ownership environment.
Expactations: • Deliver high‑quality, scalable user‑facing features within tight performance constraints. • Initiate improvements to architecture, tooling, and dev‑experience without waiting for directives. • Collaborate closely with design, product, and cross‑functional teams to translate ambiguous requirements into intuitive experiences. • Mentor and onboard new engineers, contributing to team growth. • Maintain rigorous testing, CI pipelines, and documentation (Storybook, Playwright). • Champion UI consistency and accessibility across the product stack.
Key Responsibilities: • Own and ship end‑to‑end front‑end features (onboarding flows, data reconciliation UI, account opening). • Define and evolve frontend architecture, component abstractions, state patterns, and performance strategy. • Establish and maintain a design system and UI toolkit (MUI, React, Storybook). • Lead technical vision and roadmap decisions, influencing product and engineering direction. • Improve developer experience: tooling, CI, documentation, and testing practices. • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring to scale the engineering team.
Required Skills: • 7+ years of front‑end engineering experience with deep expertise in React, component design, state management, and polished UX. • Proficiency with React Query, MUI, Vite, Storybook, and Playwright. • Strong performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and testing discipline. • Ability to work autonomously in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments. • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. • Experience shipping complex, high‑traffic user‑facing systems.
