**Job title:** Business Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide data‑driven insights to executive leadership and external clients to assess project feasibility, investor readiness, and budget planning. Analyze large‑scale financial, operational, and on‑chain datasets; develop advanced financial models, forecasting tools, and interactive dashboards. Integrate proprietary and public industry data, automate data pipelines, and support crypto‑forward initiatives across the organization. **Expectations:** Deliver actionable, data‑backed recommendations that influence strategic decisions. Maintain rigorous data quality and model integrity. Communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders of varying technical skill levels. Continuously improve data workflows and stay current with crypto/DeFi developments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and executive leadership to evaluate project feasibility and investor readiness. - Engage with on‑chain activity by querying crypto wallet addresses and interacting with dApps to support crypto initiatives. - Analyze large‑scale financial, operational, and market datasets using statistical and time‑series models to inform strategy. - Research, consolidate, and normalize industry data from public and proprietary sources; merge with internal KPIs via custom scripts. - Design and implement advanced financial models for efficiency optimization, dynamic pricing, and budget forecasting; perform variance and industry analyses. - Develop forecasting models for service pricing and customer behavior; integrate scenario analysis for strategic decision support. - Build interactive dashboards and automated data pipelines to visualize metrics and enable self‑service reporting. - Automate data‑cleaning workflows for large datasets and ensure seamless integration with BI tools. **Required Skills:** - Strong finance acumen: advanced Excel modeling (three‑statement forecasts, WACC, FCFF), Excel VBA. - Data analysis and statistical modeling: Python, R, SQL. - BI and visualization: Tableau, Databricks, Power BI or equivalent. - Experience with automated data‑cleaning and workflow orchestration. - Knowledge of crypto and DeFi ecosystems, including tokenomics, staking mechanisms, and major protocols. - Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Demonstrated proficiency in crypto/DeFi concepts and analytics. - Certifications in data analytics, finance modeling, or related areas are a plus.
