Job Description

**Job title**: Consultant Internship **Role Summary**: Provide consulting services on transformation projects for major clients in data, energy, and digital & digital transformation. Work within small multidisciplinary teams to design, model, and implement technology platforms, and deliver business value in a client-facing environment. **Expectations**: – Complete a 6‑month internship in a consulting role. – Gain hands‑on experience leading project tasks, delivering client deliverables, and collaborating with a cross‑functional team. – Receive 20 % mentoring time from a senior fellow. – Obtain intake into full‑time consulting on a case‑by‑case basis after internship. **Key Responsibilities**: 1. **Data Consulting** - Define data‑usage scope, data modelling, and data‑visualisation architecture for a leading enterprise service provider. - Support implementation of the data platform within an 8‑person Oresys team. 2. **Energy Consulting** - Specify algorithm parameters for energy‑consumption calculations for a French gas network operator, managing 11 M communicating meters. - Contribute to the overall programme governance for a 10‑person team. 3. **Digital & Digital Transformation** - Draft a digital platform requirements brief for a top French distribution retailer. - Design training programmes for store managers. - Work within a 3‑person team to deliver platform design and implementation. 4. Cross‑cutting responsibilities across all tracks: - Participate in client workshops and onsite visits. - Contribute to the creation of innovative consulting services. - Attend internal events and knowledge‑sharing sessions. - Follow the firm’s methodology, tools, and technical training programs. **Required Skills**: - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team. - Excellent written and oral communication in French; strong English proficiency preferred. - Familiarity with data modelling, energy‑oriented algorithms, or digital platform design is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Current enrolment or recent graduation from a top engineering or business school. - 6‑month internship focus on engineering, business administration, IT, or related discipline. - No additional certifications required beyond academic qualification.
