**Job Title**
Thought Machine Technical Consultant/Developer – Vault Core
**Role Summary**
Provide end‑to‑end technical expertise for the design, deployment, and integration of Thought Machine Vault Core for global banking clients. Lead implementation projects, configure system parameters, integrate with legacy and third‑party services, and ensure high‑quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
**Expectations**
- Proven track record deploying and integrating Thought Machine Vault Core in production environments.
- Ability to work flexible UK/European hours; full remote capability.
- Open to permanent or long‑term contract arrangements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, configure, and deploy Vault Core instances per client specifications.
- Integrate Vault Core with external systems (core banking, payment, treasury, etc.) using APIs, data pipelines, and middleware.
- Perform unit, integration, and acceptance testing; resolve defects and performance issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and deployment scripts.
- Collaborate with business architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide post‑go‑live support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of Thought Machine Vault Core architecture, configuration, and API ecosystem.
- Hands‑on experience with programming languages commonly used with Vault (e.g., Java/Kotlin, SQL).
- Proficiency in integration patterns, RESTful services, message queues, and data migration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a distributed team environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Thought Machine Vault Core training or certification is highly desirable.
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, GCP Cloud Developer) are a plus.
