**Job Title:** VP of DevOps **Role Summary:** Executive leader responsible for defining and executing the enterprise DevOps strategy, building a high‑performing DevOps organization, and ensuring reliable, scalable, and cost‑efficient technology operations that align with business objectives. **Expectations:** - Drive enterprise‑wide automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure initiatives. - Lead major releases, upgrades, and disaster‑recovery planning. - Champion security, compliance, and operational resilience. - Foster cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and implement the overall DevOps vision and roadmap. - Recruit, mentor, and manage a senior DevOps team. - Design, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines. - Oversee hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, VMware) architecture and cost optimization. - Integrate DevSecOps practices, access controls, and patch management. - Establish metrics/KPIs, monitor system health (e.g., DataDog, ELK), and drive incident reduction. - Lead disaster recovery strategy, testing, and business continuity. - Evaluate and adopt new tools to enhance DevOps capabilities. **Required Skills:** - Proven leadership of large DevOps organizations (VP or equivalent). - Deep expertise in DevOps architecture, pipeline construction, and automation. - Hands‑on experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware). - Strong understanding of DevSecOps, compliance standards, and security best practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence executive stakeholders. - Proficiency with Azure DevOps and enterprise monitoring tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or DevOps Institute certifications.
