Job Description

Job Title Senior Quality Assurance Lead Role Summary Lead QA engineering function across multiple projects, design and enforce comprehensive test strategies, drive test automation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases. Expectations - 11+ years of QA leadership experience with proven ability to mentor and scale engineering teams. - Hands‑on expertise in automation, API testing, and test management. - Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills. - Deep understanding of Agile SDLC and modern CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement. - Define, document, and implement test strategies, plans, and process improvements for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Drive automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and API testing frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Manage test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr) for test planning, defect tracking, and reporting. - Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality into every stage of the SDLC. - Conduct risk analysis, defect triage, and ensure timely delivery of quality releases. - Prepare and present quality metrics, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders. - Champion QA standards, test metrics, and community engagement across the organization. Required Skills - Strong experience with automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright. - Expertise in API testing (Postman, REST Assured). - Proficiency with test management tools: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr. - Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python. - Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps. - Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC practices. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. - Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced, CSM, CSPO) are advantageous.
