**Job Title:** Chief Cloud Architect and Lead Infrastructure SME (CCALIS)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of AWS GovCloud solutions for Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) missions. Provide expert cloud architecture and infrastructure governance across federal and DoD environments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with DoD and Federal standards.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver scalable, secure, and compliant AWS GovCloud infrastructure that meets operational requirements of military communities.
- Mentor and guide cross‑functional teams in cloud best practices, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Maintain alignment with DoD IT frameworks, cybersecurity SME mandates, and federal compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and architect AWS GovCloud solutions tailored to MC&FP needs.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize infrastructure for availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs to enforce DoD and Regulatory compliance.
- Champion DevSecOps and Agile practices within cloud environments.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, propose remediation strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
- Produce and maintain architectural documentation, governance artifacts, and roadmaps.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong AWS GovCloud architecture and deployment experience.
- Deep understanding of federal and DoD IT frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST).
- Expertise in cloud security, compliance, and risk management.
- Proven leadership in technical architecture and infrastructure governance.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery models.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years federal or DoD IT architecture/infrastructure experience; at least 5 years AWS GovCloud support.
- Active U.S. citizenship with a Top Secret SCI or Tier 5 clearance (or favorable adjudication).
- Valid certification(s) from the following list: CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSO, GCIA, GCSA, GCLD, GICSP, GSLC, CISSP, CISSP‑ISSAP, CISSP‑ISSEP.
