**Job Title:** Financial Risk & Reporting Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, delivery, and operation of technology solutions that support finance and risk regulatory reporting for multiple jurisdictions. Coordinate with business analysts, developers, QA, architects, and external vendors to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks and to build resilient, scalable reporting platforms.
**Expectations:**
- Own end‑to‑end product ownership for regulatory reporting initiatives.
- Deliver solutions that satisfy Basel II/III/IV, CoRep, FinRep, LCR, NSFR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior team members and manage vendor relationships.
- Maintain rigorous risk, issue, and change management throughout delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Scope, prioritize, and shape new regulatory reporting initiatives.
- Define and manage product backlogs, epics, and user stories under Agile/Scrum practices.
- Conduct business & technical analysis, solution design, and sprint planning.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (developers, QA, architects, external vendors).
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, scalability, resilience, and operational standards.
- Manage delivery risks, RAID logs, production issue tracking, and reporting.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contract management.
- Support service transition into production and manage change deployment.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years technology delivery experience in banking/financial services, focused on risk and finance domains.
- Deep knowledge of Credit, Market, and Liquidity Risk methodologies and reporting.
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks: Basel II/III/IV, CoRep, FinRep, LCR, NSFR.
- Proven ability to design and implement data‑driven solutions using modern architectures (cloud/SaaS, system integration).
- Proficiency in data analysis & reporting tools: SQL, Python, SAS, Power BI, Tableau.
- Strong stakeholder communication across technical & non‑technical audiences.
- Experience managing Agile teams, delivering projects with Scrum.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and IT controls.
- Analytical, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, CTP, or regulatory‑specific certifications) preferred.
