**Job title:** Area Sales Engineer (Commercial Engineer) **Role Summary:** Drive business development and revenue growth for electronic test and production equipment by prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities across France and selected European markets. Serve as a technical and commercial advisor to customers, delivering tailored solutions, proposals, and post‑sales support. **Expectations:** - Achieve and exceed sales quotas through proactive account management and new business acquisition. - Maintain strong technical knowledge of electronic manufacturing and testing processes. - Operate independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross‑functional teams (engineering, support, marketing). - Communicate effectively in French and professional/advanced English. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prospect and manage a portfolio of key accounts, conducting on‑site visits and product demonstrations. - Prepare and submit commercial offers and proposals aligned with corporate pricing and policy. - Deliver technical information and training to customers to ensure satisfaction and product adoption. - Track sales activities, forecast revenue, and report performance using Salesforce CRM. - Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and deliverables with clients. - Coordinate post‑sale support, warranty claims, and spare‑parts logistics. - Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product and marketing teams. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 5 years of sales experience selling electronic test and production equipment. - Strong technical understanding of electronic manufacturing, testing infrastructure, and automation. - Proven negotiation, proposal writing, and project follow‑up abilities. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable traveling (domestic and occasional European trips). - Proficiency in French (native) and English (professional/advanced). - Proficient with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and MS Office suite. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. - Commercial or business specialization (e.g., BSc/BS in Electronics with Business Studies, MBA with Electronics focus). - Certifications in sales or technical fields (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Cisco, or similar) are an advantage but not mandatory.
