We have full manufacturing capabilities and state-of-the-art machinery that provides maximum efficiency. Plant #2 features thick gauge, heavy fabricating capability with high bays and overhead cranes. It also features skilled metal fabricating craftsmen who produce large custom fabrications weighing as much as 20,000 pounds each. Job Description
**Job Title** Paint Line Laborer **Role Summary** Prepare and hang parts for paint-line production, remove excess moisture, apply masking per blueprints, and inspect, package, and document finished products. Maintain clean working area, monitor scrap and rework, and ensure safe operation in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. **Expactations** - Follow written and verbal instructions accurately. - Perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality. - Work overtime, including weekends, as required. - Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE (safety glasses, steel‑toed footwear, hearing protection, possible mask). - Operate in a dust, grease, and metal‑shavings environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Hang parts in proper orientation for powder‑coating line processing. - Remove water from parts using compressed air. - Mask internal/external threads or specified areas per customer blueprints. - Inspect finished products, package, document, and transfer to the next department. - Maintain paint‑line area cleanliness and clear aisles by moving pallets. - Monitor scrap levels and report rework needs. **Required Skills** - Manual dexterity for positioning and masking parts. - Ability to read and write English; blueprint reading is a plus. - Excellent follow‑through on detailed instructions. - Basic knowledge of powder‑coating processes. **Required Education & Certifications** - High School Diploma or GED. - 1–2 years of manufacturing experience; powder‑coating experience desirable. - Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
