Job Description
Job title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) Role Summary: Act as the first point of contact between the company and potential B2B customers. Identify, qualify, and generate a continuous flow of sales opportunities through multi‑channel outreach, feeding qualified leads to the Account Executive team. Expectations: Deliver a high volume of qualified appointments, maintain accurate CRM records, continuously improve outreach scripts, collaborate with marketing and sales, and represent the brand at industry events. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and networking at trade shows. - Prospect and identify prospects in the smart building and building management technology market. - Perform lead qualification using frameworks such as BANT or MEDDIC. - Assess technical fit in collaboration with internal engineering and solution teams. - Record all interactions and lead status updates in the CRM. - Coordinate with marketing on campaign optimization and share feedback. - Attend industry events to gather new opportunities and support brand visibility. - Deliver qualified opportunities to Account Executives and support the sales pipeline development. Required Skills: - 1–2 years of B2B prospecting or junior sales experience. - Proficiency in cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outbound techniques. - Comfortable using CRM, sales automation tools, and Google Workspace. - Strong verbal communication, persuasion, and listening skills. - Resilience, perseverance, and a drive for results. - Excellent organization and ability to manage high volume activity. - Technical curiosity and ability to understand client pain points in smart building contexts. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. - No specific certifications required.
