Job Title:
Domain DevOps Manager (H/F)
Role Summary:
Lead and own the cloud and on‑prem infrastructure and DevOps practice for the organization. Design technical architecture, ensure high availability, security and scalability, and drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and GitOps across environments.
Expectations:
• Manage technical strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement of Infra/Cloud assets.
• Coordinate with development, security, ops, and project teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Lead a small technical team and provide mentorship and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, evolve, and maintain the IaaS, PaaS, container, and networking architecture for production, pre‑prod, and dev environments.
- Own the deployment, scaling, resilience, and security of cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
- Define, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and GitOps practices.
- Automate deployments, configuration, monitoring, and incident response workflows.
- Ensure regulatory and internal compliance, implement backup, DR, and monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, NewRelic).
- Govern access rights, certificates, and secrets.
- Produce technical roadmaps, performance analyses, and service‑level KPI tracking.
- Participate in architecture, security, and IT steering committees.
- Coach and coordinate a technical team across multiple functional areas.
Required Skills:
Technical:
• Deep knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and hybrid deployment models.
• Strong Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and networking best‑practices.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, FluxCD).
• Scripting in Bash, Python; familiarity with Go is a plus.
• Observability expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, NewRelic, or equivalent.
• Understanding of FinOps principles for cost governance.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• High level of rigor, autonomy, and initiative.
• Analytical mindset for performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) and/or K8s certification (CKA, CKAD).
• Certifications in IaC (HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate) or automation tools are advantageous.
