**Job Title:** IT Support Technician
**Role Summary:**
Provide onsite advanced technical support for end‑user devices, act as the escalation point for Level‑1 support, and manage operating‑system imaging and deployment. Ensure secure, reliable IT operations and compliance with organizational policies.
**Expectations:**
- Operate under established SOPs and supervisory guidance.
- Handle critical incidents and after‑hours support as needed.
- Document incidents and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and enterprise application issues escalated from Level‑1 support.
- Perform OS imaging, deployment, and re‑imaging using tools such as Microsoft MDT, SCCM, and Intune.
- Maintain and update standardized OS images per organizational requirements.
- Apply security patches, drivers, and approved software updates.
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors for escalations and hardware replacements.
- Conduct asset and network checks during site visits.
- Document incident resolutions in IT service‑management systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
- Collaborate with network, server, and security teams on complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection standards.
**Required Skills:**
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of technical support experience, including OS imaging and user administration.
- Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems; macOS proficiency is a plus.
- Deep familiarity with OS deployment tools (MDT, SCCM, Intune).
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, basic networking concepts, and remote support tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, customer‑service, and interpersonal skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Certifications (preferred but not mandatory): Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
