**Job title**: Commercial Engineer – 1 MWc Power Plant Internship **Role Summary** Assists the Land Development Manager in identifying and developing new national renewable energy projects. Conducts market research, engages prospects (municipalities, industrial users, landowners), prepares commercial proposals, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to support the creation of a new market segment. **Expactations** - 6‑month paid internship starting Jan/Feb 2026 - Moves several times per month (Driver’s licence required) - Collaborate with internal units (biodiversity, legal, finance, engineering) and external partners (state agencies, district developers). - Demonstrate initiative, persistence, and strong interpersonal skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform market surveillance, competitive analysis, and opportunity mapping for 1 MWc projects. - Prospect and qualify prospects, initiate contact, maintain follow‑up, and record interactions. - Contribute to the design of differentiated commercial offers. - Liaise with partner firms, municipal authorities, and state agencies (DDT, DREAL). - Support sales teams in evaluating development feasibility and structuring internal commercial processes. - Participate in cross‑functional projects involving biodiversity, legal, land, finance, engineering and construction teams. - Use GIS and cartographic data to support site identification and feasibility studies. **Required Skills** - Market analysis and competitive intelligence. - B2B prospecting and sales pipeline management. - Strong verbal and written communication; persuasive storytelling. - Team collaboration across diverse stakeholders. - Basic project management and prioritisation. - Proficiency in GIS (e.g., QGIS), data presentation tools (Power BI, Business Central) a plus. - English and French fluency. - Valid driver’s licence (B) for frequent travel. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrolment in a recognised business, engineering, or IEP programme (or equivalent). - Specialisation or coursework in renewable energy, environment, or related field. - No specific certifications required beyond academic status.
