**Job Title** Engineering Intern **Role Summary** Provide engineering support under the Deep Space Logistics Engineering Support (LENS) contract to assess activities of the Gateway Logistics Services (GLS) IDIQ Contract. Participate in reviews of requirements, design, analysis, testing, manufacturing, verification, validation, assembly, integration, checkout, mission preparations, and operations related to lunar Gateway cargo and payload delivery or other Deep Space Logistics projects. **Expectations** - Enrolled in a Sciences, Engineering, or Aerospace program (Junior or Senior year). - Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. - Proactively learn and contribute to aerospace engineering projects. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist assigned department with daily tasks and project activities. - Conduct research on industry trends and best practices. - Support development of tasks/projects within the assigned business unit. - Collaborate with team members on brainstorming and solution development. - Provide administrative support as needed. - Attend team meetings, contribute ideas and insights. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in software/tools relevant to aerospace engineering (e.g., CAD, MATLAB, simulation tools). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in an accredited university under a Sciences, Engineering, or Aerospace program. - Junior or Senior year of study. - No specific certifications required; related coursework in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related disciplines preferred.
