**Job Title**
Software Engineer – Tagetik Finance Solutions
**Role Summary**
Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tagetik applications for finance functions. Works independently on complex projects, collaborating with finance teams, architects, and infrastructure stakeholders to deliver functional and coded solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
**Expectations**
- Execute disciplined development practices and adhere to coding standards.
- Deliver high‑quality Tagetik configurations, workflows, ETL processes, and SQL queries.
- Provide unit testing, L3 production support, and root‑cause analysis.
- Produce clear technical documentation.
- Engage routinely (2–3 days per week) with broader IT teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Gather and translate business requirements from finance stakeholders.
- Configure and develop Tagetik modules (financial models, Solvency II, forecasting, consolidation).
- Build ETL/ELT processes, data mappings, and data cleansing routines.
- Write and maintain SQL queries for Tagetik reports (Web & Excel).
- Integrate Tagetik with external systems (e.g., through Data Loader, JBoss, Control‑M).
- Perform unit testing, bug fixes, and L3 production support.
- Document design specifications, migration plans, and system enhancements.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience with Tagetik development and configuration (≥ 2 implementations).
- Proficiency in Tagetik Processes & Workflows, Dimension, and Data Processing.
- Advanced SQL (SQL Server) and data mapping/validation.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and large data sets.
- Experience with MS development stack: Visual Studio, MS SQL, DevOps.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL and/or SSIS (advantage).
- Understanding of financial processes, consolidation, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in Tagetik, SSIS, or financial modeling are a plus but not mandatory.
