**Job title:** Senior Business Developer (Foundry) **Role Summary:** Lead market expansion initiatives for a specialty iron foundry, driving new customer acquisition and product opportunities. Convert strategic concepts into actionable plans, manage development pipelines, and align cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, on‑time project delivery. **Expectations:** - Over 10 years of experience in business development, strategy, or program management within manufacturing or foundries. - Strong stakeholder management; ability to influence executives, operations, engineering, and customers. - Technical understanding of foundry operations, supply chains, and process safety. - Analytical, data‑driven mindset with excellent presentation and communication skills. - Adaptable, hands‑on, and comfortable in a fast‑paced growth environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute a growth strategy, identifying new products, markets, and customer segments. - Conduct customer discovery, competitive analysis, and opportunity prioritization. - Transform concepts into structured work breakdowns, budgets, and project plans. - Lead cross‑functional alignment with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to assess feasibility and risk. - Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize site operations, governance, and performance reporting. - Establish and monitor key performance metrics, ensuring milestones are met. - Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, from idea to ramp‑up. **Required Skills:** - Business development and strategic planning in manufacturing or foundry environments. - Program/project management (including scope, budget, timeline). - Stakeholder engagement and executive‑level communication. - Technical aptitude for foundry processes, supply chain, and safety protocols. - Data analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking. - Strong presentation and negotiation skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (preferable) in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. - Certifications in project or business development (PMP, BDD, etc.) are an asset.
