Job Description
Job title: Junior DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Support the development and automation of data workflows for a Technical Data Center. Improve efficiency, maintain legacy applications, drive change management processes, and implement best‑practice CI/CD pipelines that align with corporate governance and audit requirements. Expectations: - Minimum 2 years of technical experience, ideally within an industrial or mining environment. - Proven ability to work independently with broad discretion and influence senior decision‑makers. - Strong problem‑solving skills and a record of delivering automation solutions that enhance reliability and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for the Technical Data Center using GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. - Build and maintain change‑management tools, including communication and validation steps for interfaces with corporate IT and Internal Audit. - Collaborate with Internal Risk/Audit teams to create governance controls for SOX‑in‑scope data streams. - Monitor and troubleshoot production processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, sustainability, and scalability. - Manage releases, versioning, and documentation for system updates. - Provide technical guidance on emerging technologies within the organization's innovation roadmap. - Deliver technical presentations and written communication to stakeholders across all levels. Required Skills: - Proficiency in .NET Core, Python, Lua, SQL, React, and database technologies. - Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and package management (Helm). - Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, version control, and automated testing frameworks. - Knowledge of networking protocols and virtualization concepts. - Strong analytical, scripting, and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a multicultural environment.
