Job title: DevOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for a high‑growth platform that integrates finance, logistics, and industrial processes. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver rapid feature releases while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance at scale.
Expectations:
• 5 + years in software engineering, progressing to operational roles.
• Proven experience in fast‑paced startup environments.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient code and automate deployment pipelines.
• Leadership in mentoring junior staff and contributing to team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS or comparable).
2. Build, test, and deploy CI/CD pipelines for front‑end and back‑end services.
3. Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production incidents, and enforce resilience best‑practices.
4. Collaborate with developers to implement infrastructure as code, automate configuration, and ensure secure, compliant deployments.
5. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and technical coaching of new team members.
6. Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps tooling and practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming foundation in at least one language (TypeScript, Java, Go, Node.js).
- Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with monitoring/slogging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Ability to abstract complex systems into simple, maintainable solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred but not mandatory.
