Job Description

Job Title: Java Software Engineer Role Summary: Mid-level Java developer responsible for end‑to‑end software development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment of new features and integrations for a commercial platform. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality Java code on schedule. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Participate in the entire development lifecycle and support post‑release maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Java applications using open‑source frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). - Design, implement, and test new features and integrations. - Enhance existing functionalities and improve system performance. - Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards. - Work on research‑oriented projects, prototyping advanced system features. - Support customers and internal teams by providing timely bug fixes and improvements. Required Skills: - 2+ years of Java development experience. - Proficiency with Spring and Hibernate (or equivalent open‑source frameworks). - Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a small cross‑functional team. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Experience with the full software development lifecycle. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred). - Relevant certifications in Java or related technologies are advantageous.
