Job Description

Job Title: Software Development Intern Role Summary: Intern role focused on full‑stack web application development using Django REST Framework, Svelte/SvelteKit, PostgreSQL, and Azure. Responsibilities include building and maintaining RESTful APIs, front‑end components, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment. Expactations: 4–6 month full‑time internship. Apply TDD, domain‑driven design, and best engineering practices. Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs in Django REST Framework. - Build front‑end features with Svelte/SvelteKit. - Write, review, and maintain test‑driven, clean code. - Design and refine domain models and database schemas in PostgreSQL. - Collaborate via Git/GitHub, participating in code reviews and branching strategies. - Deploy and monitor applications on Azure; contribute to Azure infrastructure management. - Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. - Assist in database administration and performance tuning. Required Skills - Knowledge of Python and JavaScript. - Experience or strong understanding of web development concepts: HTTP, REST, client–server architecture. - Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub). - Basics of test‑driven development and CI/CD. - Exposure to PostgreSQL database design. - Comfortable learning new frameworks, tools, and cloud services. - Strong problem‑solving and end‑to‑end system thinking. - Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical topics to non‑technical audiences.
