Job Title: Network, Systems, and Security Engineer
Role Summary:
Senior engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network and system infrastructures for a large enterprise client. Works closely with client IT teams to provide advanced support, incident response, and capability development.
Expactations:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Network, Systems, and Security Engineer.
- B2 level English; Spanish B2 is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, and synthesis ability.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage complex technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, proxies).
- Configure and optimize security policies on Cisco (ISE, ASA, Catalyst) and Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer).
- Provide N3 support, resolve complex incidents, and transfer knowledge to client staff.
- Lead cyber‑incident response, manage crisis operations, and coordinate with incident teams.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers (AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, GPO, PKI).
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware ESXi, vCenter) and cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS).
- Oversee backup and DR solutions (PRA/PCA).
- Produce technical specifications, architecture documents, and technology roadmaps.
- Monitor security KPIs, contribute to risk governance, and support ongoing security governance.
Required Skills:
- Network administration and security (LAN/WAN, routing, VPN/IPSec, SSL, firewall, proxy).
- Expertise in Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
- Cybersecurity fundamentals: vulnerability management, hardening, log analysis, SIEM.
- Windows Server administration (Active Directory, GPO, PKI).
- Virtualization management (VMware, storage, clusters).
- Cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS).
- Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Database familiarity (SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB).
- Project management of infrastructure migrations and deployments.
Required Education & Certifications:
- CCNA/CCNP, NSE4, VCP, MCSA/MCSE (or equivalent) highly appreciated.
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
