Job Description
**Job Title** Operations Assistant **Role Summary** Support the cash‑management operations team by executing daily processing tasks, client onboarding, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting within an in‑house finance function. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely processing of cash‑management instructions and documentation. - Maintain high standards of client service, ownership, and compliance. - Provide reliable data for senior management and client communication. **Key Responsibilities** - Onboard new clients onto the cash‑management platform. - Prepare and review deposit instructions, withdrawals, closures, and payment instructions to multiple banks. - Perform interest calculations on bank deposits and post interest journals to client accounts. - Communicate with external bank partners. - Compile client tax statements when requested. - Prepare daily bank reconciliations and post interest journals; maintain month‑end panel bank reconciliations, including pooled accounts. - Generate monthly management information on overall cash positions on the platform. - Support MI/quarterly reporting. **Required Skills** - Experience in back‑office cash‑management or operational roles. - Proven client‑focused service delivery and task ownership. - Strong organisational, detail‑oriented, and problem‑solving abilities. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. - Effective communication, both written and verbal. - Practical knowledge of ONFIDO/ORBIS systems. - Familiarity with AML/KYC procedures. - Experience working with UK banks. - Ability to prepare MI and quarterly financial reporting. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience. - Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred but not mandatory.
