Role Summary
As Release Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating software releases, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments. This role involves automating build, test, and deployment processes, and collaborating with various teams to maintain the integrity and reliability of software products.
This is a hybrid position where you will work from any of our UK Aptia offices, as well as from your home address.
Here's What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside other Release Manager in Managing day to day activities around releases from development through to production.
Producing deployment, implementation, and run books plans.
Utilizing source code repositories and ensure adherence to version control best practices.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Design and implement release pipelines for smooth and reliable software rollouts.
Collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to coordinate release schedules and dependencies.
Maintaining and improving overall release process to achieve best practice.
Maintaining documentation related to release procedures, configurations, and modifications.
Securing relevant resource for releases.
Here's What We're Looking For
Experience in a Release Manager role or a similar role in a financial institution.
Extensive experience of projects includes a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) with software development models like Agile, Scrum Model, JIRA, Waterfall Models and Agile Ops methodologies.
Strong knowledge of version control systems.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) is desirable but not essential.
Experience with using DevOps CI/CD pipeline tools is essential. Associated applications such as Jenkins, GitLab CI would be advantageous.
Understanding of change control, process and procedures and sign-offs.

We are currently looking for a Pensions Administrator. You will be responsible for providing an accurate, reliable and high standard pension administration service to Members, Trustees and Clients. This is a 12 month FTC aligned to our office in Exeter.
The Role

As a Pensions Administrator, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge within our friendly Pensions Administration team, while supporting our service delivery to both clients and individual members.
What you'll Be Doing
A variety of administration activities connected to the running of a pension scheme, including leavers, data changes, setting up benefits into payment, general policyholder enquiries and annual scheme updates
Communicating with clients and scheme members on queries when required via letter, email and telephone.
Performing pensions calculations, with the support of your team, enter pensions data or answer enquiries
Work within specified timescales and produce quality work within this
Work as part of a team, collaborating to continuously improve processes and service to clients
What we're Looking For
Experience in pensions administration, including knowledge of DB pensions.
Strong numeracy skills, comfortable working in a numbers-based role.
GCSE level education with Mathematics and English Language Grade C or above.
Good IT skills, comfortable working with systems and programmes such as MS Office.
Organised with strong attention to details.
