**Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Full‑stack engineer responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that manage golf club operations. Works with PHP frameworks (Symfony 5+ and CodeIgniter) and JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Backbone) to deliver feature‑rich front‑end and back‑end solutions, refactor legacy code, and ensure high code quality through testing and documentation. **Expectations:** - Own deliverables and meet deadlines in a deadline‑driven, team environment. - Communicate progress proactively to stakeholders and QA team. - Maintain a structured, disciplined approach to development, testing, and deployment. - Demonstrate strong organizational and self‑management skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Translate design documents into functional code across front‑end and back‑end layers. - Refactor, extend, and maintain legacy codebases while moving toward open standards. - Write, edit, and maintain unit and feature tests; analyze test results and provide fixes. - Deliver bug fixes and perform code reviews. - Collaborate with QA engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver high‑quality releases. - Manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects in an Agile environment. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of full‑stack development experience. - Proven expertise in PHP, Symfony (v5+), and CodeIgniter. - Strong object‑oriented programming skills. - Front‑end experience with Vue.js, Backbone, HTML5, jQuery, Sass, and CSS. - SQL proficiency. - Experience integrating payment gateways or payment providers. - Familiarity with AWS and cloud‑based web applications. - Proficiency with Jira and Agile development practices. - Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code; solid debugging and refactoring skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent practical work experience.
