Job Description

Job Title: Mid Level Software Engineer Role Summary: Develop and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines for real‑time sports analytics using C#, ASP.NET, and Python. Ensure robust performance, high code quality, and reliable deployment across cloud environments. Expactations: Deliver production‑grade code, adhere to testing, CI/CD, and GitHub workflow best practices, own end‑to‑end solutions, collaborate effectively across teams, and maintain transparency and accountability. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs in C# / ASP.NET and Python. • Develop unit tests, set up CI/CD pipelines, and enforce GitHub collaboration protocols. • Manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, tuning design for speed and reliability. • Enhance data processing pipelines and automated video analysis frameworks. • Create documentation for new APIs and integrations. • Scale infrastructure on AWS and GCP, addressing performance and cost. • Communicate progress and risks to cross‑functional stakeholders. Required Skills: • 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience. • Expert proficiency in Python, C#, and ASP.NET. • Hands‑on experience building production APIs. • Strong knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL. • Proven ability in unit testing, CI/CD, and GitHub workflows. • Excellent communication, reliability, and ownership mindset. • Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed, high‑performance team. Preferred Skills: • Experience with AWS and GCP cloud services. • Understanding of distributed architecture, microservices, or event‑driven systems. • Interest or knowledge of sports analytics.
