**Job Title:** Java Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, scalable Java applications and microservices using Spring Boot and Hibernate. Build secure RESTful APIs, integrate with AWS cloud services, and optimize performance across relational and NoSQL databases. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and apply DevOps practices to deliver reliable, CI/CD enabled solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and refine Java back‑end applications using Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Design and expose RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Perform database schema design, queries, and performance tuning for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and optionally NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Architect and maintain distributed system components, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
- Implement networking logic (IP, TCP/UDP), firewall rules (iptables/nftables), and system design patterns.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes.
- Participate in code reviews, unit/integration testing, and debugging.
- Engage with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, etc.) for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Collaborate on resiliency, security hardening, and data protection strategies.
**Required Skills**
- 8+ years of Java development experience, deep knowledge of core Java, OOP, data structures, algorithms.
- Proven expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
- Strong RESTful API design and microservices architecture skills.
- SQL database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) with performance optimization.
- Networking fundamentals (IP, TCP/UDP, firewall) and distributed system design.
- Hands‑on DevOps: CI/CD, Git, Jenkins/TeamCity/GitHub Actions.
- Mandatory AWS Cloud proficiency (EC2, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and collaborative communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (preferred): AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE Programmer, or equivalent.
