Job Description
Job title: Junior Analyst - Operations Role Summary: Junior Analyst will collect, analyze, and report on operational data to support process improvement, financial reporting, and customer service initiatives. Working cross‑functionally, the analyst will identify trends, recommend efficiencies, and aid in the development of operational strategies. Expectations: Deliver accurate, timely analyses that guide decision‑making; collaborate effectively with finance, operations, and client‑facing teams; demonstrate strong analytical rigor and organized problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities: - Gather and clean operational data from internal systems and external sources - Perform trend analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking - Prepare and present financial and performance reports for management review - Identify process bottlenecks and recommend data‑driven improvements - Support customer service initiatives by analyzing feedback and operational metrics - Maintain documentation for data sources, methodologies, and reporting standards - Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment on budgeting and forecasting - Assist in the development and implementation of operational dashboards and tools - Participate in cross‑functional projects to optimize workflow and enhance operational efficiency Required Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Tableau) - Ability to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable trends - Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at presenting findings to diverse stakeholders - Detail‑oriented with proven organizational and time‑management abilities - Customer‑service oriented and collaborative mindset - Familiarity with finance and accounting concepts related to operations - Problem‑solving aptitude and initiative to propose process improvements Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline - A + in relevant certifications such as Microsoft Excel Expert, Power BI, or a data analytics certification is desirable but not mandatory.
