Salesforce Developer
**Role Summary**
Lead the end‑to‑end design, develop, test, and deployment of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud solutions. Act as a product owner and technical architect to understand sales organization needs, configure Salesforce, build custom applications, and ensure seamless integration with external systems. Drive adoption, change management, and continuous improvement of the platform.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, and integrations.
- Build and optimize Object configurations, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and flows.
- Create and manage automation via Apex and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder).
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (MSSQL, DocuSign, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
- Configure and administer user accounts, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules.
- Conduct data hygiene: deduplication, audit, and cleanup.
- Build reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business analysts.
- Troubleshoot user issues, resolve defects, and monitor system health.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices; advise on adoption.
- Create and update training materials; lead change‑management initiatives.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
- Proficient with declarative tools: Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, UI configuration.
- Strong integration experience (REST/SOAP, middleware, SQL).
- Familiarity with Salesforce best‑practice security and coding standards.
- Data management: deduplication, data migration, audit processes.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent time‑management, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- Team‑player capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent high‑school diploma/GED + 4 years related experience).
- 4+ years direct Salesforce platform development experience.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (strongly preferred).
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience desirable.
