Job Description

**Job Title** Intern – Public Contract Law (F/H) **Role Summary** Internship (6 months, starting July 2026) in the Public Contracts and Markets Department of a public‑ownership project organization. Focus on public procurement law, drafting contractual clauses, and monitoring procurement processes to ensure legal compliance. **Expectations** - Graduate in Public Law or Construction Law (CAPA or Master II minimum). - Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. - Strong written communication skills in French; English proficiency desirable. - Willingness to engage in continuous legal monitoring and contribution to standardisation initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft legal notes and consultancy documents on public procurement matters. - Prepare contractual clauses, templates, and standard documents for public contracts. - Assist in the procurement cycle: contract award, execution monitoring, and documentation. - Contribute to pre‑contentious review of procedures and support litigation if necessary. - Conduct legislative and regulatory watch on public procurement law and related regulations. - Participate in the standardisation and modelling of contract instruments (e.g., CCAG, MOP). **Required Skills** - In‑depth knowledge of the French Public Procurement Code, 2015 ordinance n°2015‑5899, 2016 decree n°2016‑360, and 1985 law n°85‑704 (MOP). - Understanding of concession contracts, partnership agreements, and global public procurement contracts. - Familiarity with EU and French case law on public procurement. - Ability to draft clear, concise, and legally robust clauses and documents. - Analytical mindset for assessing procurement risks and compliance. - Proficiency in legal research and regulation monitoring tools. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of Master II in Law (public or construction). - CAPA qualification (preferred). - No specific certifications required beyond the legal degree.
