Job Description
**Job Title:** UK Intern – Medical Governance Associate **Role Summary:** A 12‑month internship responsible for supporting the delivery of Medical Affairs governance projects and activities in a global specialty pharmaceutical setting. The role involves project assistance, process optimization, quality assurance, reporting, and cross‑functional communication. **Expectations:** - Complete the internship in the third or penultimate year of an undergraduate or equivalent academic program. - Return to full‑time study after the placement. - Demonstrate proactive engagement, timely delivery, and commitment to internal standards and statutory regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with delivery of Medical Affairs governance projects (e.g., processes, Written Standards Management, Regional Medical Risk Management). - Provide project‑management assistance for evidence generation, medical material review, grants, sponsorships, access to medicines, and patient support programmes. - Develop and implement monitoring and quality‑assurance activities to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. - Support change‑management initiatives within Medical Affairs. - Generate reports, metrics and dashboards to track performance of Medical Affairs processes. - Coordinate communication of Medical Affairs activities across teams and the wider regional business. - Maintain the internal Medical Affairs regional training matrix and database. **Required Skills:** - Basic project management and organisational skills. - Strong analytical and reporting abilities (Excel, PowerPoint, dashboard tools). - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Team‑oriented with an independent work ethic. - Attention to detail and compliance awareness. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data‑management tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - 3rd or 4th year undergraduate (or equivalent) in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Social Sciences, or related discipline. - No formal certifications required.
