UI/UX Designer – Support Functions
**Role Summary**
Design and deliver end‑to‑end user experiences for web applications within Agile, multidisciplinary teams. Apply user‑centered methodologies, prototype with industry‑standard tools, conduct research and workshops, and translate insights into actionable design solutions, including AI/ML features. Communicate designs clearly to stakeholders and developers, ensuring rapid, quality delivery.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality UI/UX within short iteration cycles.
- Work independently while collaborating cross‑functionally.
- Own research, prototyping, and stakeholder communication from concept to hand‑off.
- Remain proactive, self‑starter, curious, and adaptable to ambiguity.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Create intuitive, engaging UI/UX for web applications using design and prototyping tools (primarily Figma).
2. Conduct workshops and usability testing, recruit participants, moderate sessions, and analyze results.
3. Translate research findings into design enhancements and iterate designs rapidly.
4. Develop concepts that incorporate AI/ML components (e.g., chatbots, automation).
5. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and senior stakeholders to capture requirements and provide design solutions.
6. Prepare clear visual and verbal presentations for stakeholder reviews.
7. Maintain consistent design quality across projects, following design guidelines and best practices.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in Figma and other UX design/prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from a design perspective.
- Experience in user‑centered design process, including research, personas, journeys, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
- Ability to run and moderate workshops, usability tests, and research sessions.
- Familiarity with designing for AI or ML products is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Self‑starter, proactive, curiosity‑driven, excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and delivering within tight timelines.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio of case studies.
