Job Title: Stage Data Scientist / Machine Learning - Dynamic Pricing
Job Description: **Job Title:** Data Scientist / Machine Learning Intern – Dynamic Pricing **Role Summary:** Six‑month internship focused on developing demand forecasting and dynamic pricing models for electric vehicle charging networks. You will structure data pipelines, build machine learning models, and evaluate business impact, working closely with founding partners in a fast‑paced R&D environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver immediately usable models in production within 6 months. - Work autonomously, pro‑actively propose improvements, and collaborate daily with founders. - Demonstrate business acumen in pricing, energy, or related sectors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Clean, structure, and maintain time‑series, geospatial, and market data in PostgreSQL. - Design, train, and validate forecasting and pricing ML models using Python. - Deploy models, build dashboards (Tableau) and monitor performance (revenue, margin, traffic). - Conduct A/B or other experimentation to quantify impact of pricing changes. - Provide client‑facing insights when needed and translate technical findings into business recommendations. **Required Skills:** - Strong programming in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, statsmodels). - SQL proficiency with PostgreSQL. - Experience in time‑series analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling. - Familiarity with geospatial data processing. - Data visualization skills (Tableau, matplotlib). - Statistical rigor and understanding of ML model evaluation. - Excellent communication and independent decision‑making. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Enrollment or completion of a Master’s‑level engineering or data science program. - Coursework or projects in statistics, machine learning, and data engineering. - Certification in data science or ML is a plus but not mandatory.
